Founded in 2005, the Center for Infectious Diseases and Microbiology Translational Research (CIDMTR) promotes interdisciplinary interactions among highly accomplished teams of investigators with expertise in Infectious Diseases, Microbiology and Immunology. The Center is supported by the Departments of Medicine, Microbiology, and Pediatrics of the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Our Mission: to discover mechanisms of pathogenesis that can be translated into new treatments and strategies for prevention of infectious diseases.
