Dr. Shuxian Hu

Assistant Professor
Department of Medicine
Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine

Dr. Hu's major research interest is in immunologically mediated neuropathogenesis and neurodegenerative diseases of the CNS, particularly related to viral diseases of the brain. She is also interested in the effects of opioids and other psychoactive substances on neurons, glial, and neuronal stem cells.
